On Monday, December 7, from 7:00-9:00 p. , the staff and students of DeLaSalle High School will host a live and virtual Open House for prospective students and their families , offering the choice of 17 different online presentations about DeLaSalle’s mission, curriculum, and programming. We invite all parents and middle school students to join us for this highly interactive and informative event.
Interested families should go to delasalle.com (click here) to pre-register and receive the links to the interactive breakout presentations on Monday evening. Multiple breakout sessions are offered by each academic department, as well as college planning, student activities, financial aid and scholarships, Campus Ministry, learning support, the honors and AP program, the unique Global Advantage Program connecting students to international academic travel and so more DeLaSalle teachers, administrators, staff, and many current students will lead the presentations.
It’s a great time to be at DeLaSalle, currently the third largest Catholic high school in Minnesota. For each of the past several years, DeLaSalle has received more than 375 applications for 175-200 available spaces in the ninth grade class. The enrollment is strong, and the 725 current students come to DeLaSalle from over 125 different middle schools in the Twin Cities. In turn, DeLaSalle consistently sends 98-100 percent of each graduating class to college, matriculating to universities and colleges in 48 different states in the past decade. Our school has been centrally located on historic Nicollet Island since 1900, with school busing available from most areas of the Twin Cities.
At DeLaSalle, we are committed to core values in three intersecting areas: our heritage and our study as a Catholic and Lasallian school, our commitment to a rigorous college and career preparatory curriculum, and our welcoming an unsurpassed and equitable diversity across our student body. We pray with and for each other. Our graduates will be ready for post-secondary education. We support and prepare students for the world in which they will live and contribute as adult women and men of Faith, inquiry, and service.
