Below are the descriptions of the volunteer duties for each event that is listed:
Lunchroom Help (11:00 am - 12:30 pm) | Help serve hot lunch, clean off trays and clean tables after lunch.
Scholastic Book Fair | The Book Fair is during the last week in January. Volunteers keep books organized and help check out purchased books.
Spaghetti Dinner | Last week in January. Volunteers serve meals, take tickets, set tables and clear tables.
Marathon | Volunteers check in students, direct students along routes, serve and prepare snacks.
Mardi Gras | Work at games and hand out prizes, help with clean-up after event.
Tournament Ticket Seller | During athletic tournaments, volunteers collect admission as spectators arrive.
Field Day | Volunteers help facilitate games and snack stations at Huset Park for the student’s end-of-the-year event.
Queen of May | People are needed to set up auction items prior to the event & the day of the event to help serve dinner, check out purchases and clean up afterward.
Grandparent's Day | During Grandparent’s Day, volunteers help with bingo, snacks and participate in Mass.
Head Sport Coach | Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball. There is a small stipend for head coaches.
Assistant Sport Coach | Assist the head coach in one of the sports offered at ICS. Volunteer position.
Classroom Reader | Read a book to a whole classroom or read with students in a small group or a one-to-one setting. Grades K - 4.
